REVIEW - Doves Farm Organic Low Fat Fruity Oat Cereal Bar

This cereal bar had an unusual texture in that it was dry rather than sticky and with a crunch but not crumbly. It is full of chunky cereals and juicy sultanas with a light fruity flavour, making it a pleasant snack. It is also promoted as being low fat so a good one if you are trying to snack healthily.

REVIEW - Doves Farm Organic Chocolate & Crispy Rice Bar

This is a lovely cereal bar to have as a treat without feeling too naughty! It is not too chocolaty buts get a good balance between the chocolate in the top half of the bar and the crispy rice at the bottom. This bar is also not too crumbly which is particularly good if you are offering it to a child as a treat!

REVIEW - Doves Farm Organic Apple & Sultana Flapjacks

This flapjack was quite simply delicious. It was not in the least bit dry or crumbly and the sultanas were juicy and moist whilst the apple flavour was delicate. I would definitely recommend this for a lovely snack and its natural ingredients with no artificial additives mean I would be quite happy offering it to a child.

What Does the Budget Do For the Environment?

Working out the bits that effect us individually when it comes to this week's Budget from the government can be tricky with so much information to digest. We have found an article, however, which makes the environmental aspects of the Budget a little clearer and more succinct. This can be found on the Mondaq website and we'd recommend taking a look if you are interested, and we hope you are, in what is being promised in terms of combating climate change.

Get up to £180 for your old mobile phone!

If you, like many people, have an old mobile phone lying in a drawer, you could make up to £180 by having it reused or recycled! You simply need to spend a couple of minutes providing your contact details and details of the phone, await a trade pack in order to send in your phone which, once received, will be valued and you will be paid!

Keeping old mobile phones doesn't benefit you, whilst sending them to landfill is not only adding to this waste stream but also causes environmental problems due to toxic elements within the phones. By recycling your phone in this way you can make some money and help the environment!

REVIEW - Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate Eggs

Both of these eggs are made from lovely smooth chocolate and which one appeals the most comes down to personal taste. I generally prefer milk chocolate and this was the case with the Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate Eggs. The milk chocolate had a creamy taste to it whilst the dark 70% chocolate had the intenseness associated with dark chocolates. I would certainly be happy to present these as Easter gifts.

REVIEW - Green & Black’s Organic Mini Eggs

As a particular fan of milk chocolate I tried the Milk Chocolate Mini Eggs first. The chocolate is lovely and smooth and whilst these Mini Eggs aren’t as sweet as some milk chocolate, they are moreish without being sickly. The Dark 70% Praline Filled Mini Eggs are also smooth with a delicious soft milk chocolate hazelnut praline centre. I sometimes find dark chocolate a little bitter, although this is personal taste, but the praline takes the edge off this.
