REVIEW - Tefal Quick Cup Deluxe Water Dispenser

The Tefal Quick Cup Deluxe has a slightly larger water tank than its predecessor at 1.7 litres and is generally a larger appliance, although it still doesn’t have a much larger footprint than many kettles. The manufacturer claims that the product still uses about one third of the energy of a kettle but this new version is much quicker at dispensing the hot water which is virtually instantaneous. REVIEW - Alternative Energy for Dummies

The various energy alternatives are well documented in this book, and there is also a sizeable section on the energy use of today and how we have got where we are. The book is very careful to look at both the pros and cons of each energy source and it also includes nuclear energy reminding the reader that, not only is this in use today, but that it is an alternative to fossil fuels. With transportation fuels also covered, this book really does offer a comprehensive picture of the possible future of energy. The nifty icons help the reader to, for example, sort out which bits of information, of which there is a great deal, are important to remember and which bits are ‘technical stuff’.
