Look Out For the EU Organic Farming Logo

You may already have noticed the EU organic farming logo (shown here) on produce, but as of this month this is now compulsory on all organic pre-packaged food which has been produced in the EU.  It can also be used voluntarily on other organic produce.  Use of the logo confirms that the produce contains at least 95% organic agricultural ingredients.  Other organic certification marks can also be included on packaging, for example the Soil Association symbol.  You can find out more about the EU 'Euro-leaf' logo on the European Commission website.
